John Larkings is a senior associate with Williams Love & Nicol where he specialises in commercial litigation and corporate insolvency. His work involves all forms of dispute resolution and spans a broad range of commercial litigation matters including contractual disputes, trade practices, constitutional and administrative law, professional negligence and Corporations Act disputes.

John is experienced in mediation and in conducting litigation in each of the major Australian jurisdictions. Much of his recent work has involved claims arising from business and partnership dissolutions, claims against company directors, and a constitutional challenge in the High Court of Australia. He also regularly advises in relation to trustees’ and directors’ duties.

John is a New South Wales Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation Law. He is experienced as an advocate in the Federal Court and ACT Courts, having conducted numerous statutory demand matters, winding-up matters, public examinations and debt recovery claims.
