Mark Love headed up the Williams Love & Nicol team that advised major independent accounting firm, WalterTurnbull, on its merger with the global professional services firm, Price Waterhouse Coopers.

WalterTurnbull was founded in 1993 by Andrew Turnbull and Don Walter. The mid-market specialist practice had grown to just under 200 staff with turnover of $30 million and offices in Canberra and Sydney.

The merger with PwC has doubled the size of the Canberra team and creates an increased capacity to service both government and private clients.

Starting in May 2010, Williams Love & Nicol worked to a tight timeframe that ensured all aspects of transaction were completed by financial year end.
